All hail to Bankhead Hwy, which in yesteryear, 1919 to be exact, became the 1st highway that one could travel year round across the country. It literally paved the way to new commerce and vitality across our great nation. So on this 100th anniversary, we pay tribute to the beginnings, the journey, the history and to the now, which was made possible by ideas and efforts of visionaries over the last century.
