Grand Opening Scheduled
“We’ve waited for this day for some time,” owner Tom Moncrief said. “And now the museum is ready to open. We have some wonderful cars on display from throughout history with great stories to tell.”
“The wide variety of cars on display offers an insider’s look into the history of the automobile industry and an opportunity to view cars no longer being manufactured,” the museum curator said.
The dust has settled. The walls are painted. The floors are in. The cars are cleaned and shining brightly under the new lighting. Everything is in its place and ready for the grand opening of Weatherford’s newest attraction, the Vintage Car Museum and Event Center. The grand opening is scheduled for Aug. 4, 2016 with a ribbon cutting by the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m. that morning.
